about

Balance In Life songs are thought provoking, written for today, rhythmically presented by a singer songwriter, who has played music most of his life.

Richard was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. He started playing drums at age 11, in addition to taking keyboard and voice lessons. Early in his career, he worked as a drummer.

After raising his family, musical interests resurfaced and he took up the ukulele. In retirement, a songwriting interest developed, and this album is the result.

Song topics include personal growth and growing older, economic issues, thorny social issues and striking a work – life balance. They look back on growing up, and to the future asking, what will you leave behind. And the title track Balance In Life, talks about trying to keep life in balance.
